#MES Insights conference programme: Focus on digitisation, sustainability and electro-mobility
#MES Insights with its focus on electronics suppliers to the mobility sector offers a virtual platform for networking and exchanging views. Its aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of the challenges facing mobility in these times. Thus, #MES Insights is the only platform to date to combine the transport modes of rail and road. The conference programme specifically targets the rail, utility vehicle and automotive industries and will be streamed live.
Live-streamed Dialogue Forum
International experts from the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI), the German Railway Industry Association (VDB) and the German Transport Forum (DVF), the industry association representing multiple forms of transport, will hold brief and compact discussion forums on the industry’s latest innovative trends. On Tuesday, 9 November from 10.15 to 11.45 a.m., the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI) will kick off the Dialogue Forum series with a discussion on ‘Electric mobility in conurbations - concepts, connectivity and infrastructure’.
On Wednesday, 10 November from 10 to 11.30 a.m., the German Transport Forum (DVF) will host a panel discussion with representatives of industry and politics. Under the heading ’Sustainable, connected and affordable – what is the benchmark for future mobility?’, the focus will be on mobility forms and technological approaches, set against the overall situation in the transport industry. Energy efficiency and carbon footprint goals will also be examined.
On Wednesday, 10 November from 2 to 3.30 p.m., the German Railway Industry Association (VDB) will report on the digitisation taking place in rail passenger transport through innovative communications and passenger flow management. Under the heading ’A 360-degree transformation: the digital transport revolution in the rail industry“, the focus will be on climate protection, passenger comfort and low-emission industrial growth.

The online platform #MES Insights 2021 is a virtual addition to the international B2B MES Expo event, which will take place in person again on its scheduled 2023 dates in Berlin.
